is CEO of Baugrund Dresden and has over 20 years experience in consulting and research. He is renowned for his expertise in the application of modern numerical analysis in geotechnical engineering.

Prof. von Wolffersdorff is member of the Numerical Working Group of the German Society of Geotechnical Engineering and member of several Commissions for Norms and Standards in Germany. He has close cooperation with research institutions in Germany and was Honour Professor of the Technical University Freiberg, Germany.
